Senator Darlington Eze AJOKU was born on 3rd Sept 1947 in Obibiezena in current Owerri North LGA, an Economic/ Accounting graduate of the old University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, former Regional General manager of Rank Xerox, West and Central Africa , and one time Head of Sales and Marketing Rank Xerox East Africa, currently Managing Director of Darlez Nigeri ltd., Chief Executive officers of Darl- Capital Systems Nigeria ltd owners of Darling FM Radio Station,Imo state, Chairman Darlcech furniture Enterprise, Chairman Darlez Medical Enterprise Ltd. Chairman Valid Ideas Nig ltd. A former PDP GUBERNATORIAL ASPIRANT IN 1999, former BOT Chairman, Federal Polytechnic Ede ,Osun State, Senator of the 4 th Republic. 1st Vice Chairman, Nigerian CSO Strategy Group on SDG. FOUNDER AND INTERNATIONAL COORDINATOR OF GRACEFUL AGEING fellowship(GRAF) Proprietor Darlez Orphanage care home. PROF. TUNDE ADENIRAN, OFR (Chairman BOT)

Prof Tunde Adeniran is a Professor of Political Science with Specialization in International Relations and Strategic Studies. He is a product of the University of Ibadan and Columbia University, an Ivy League institution in New York, USA. Before joining the Department of Political Science at the University of Ibadan where he worked for twenty years and ended up as Head of the Political Science Department, he had taught at some American Universities, worked in some specialized research institutions and at the United Nations. An author of over one hundred publications in form of books, monographs and academic journal articles, Professor Tunde Adeniran has served Nigeria at various important levels, including being the the Secretary/Director and later Chairman of MAMSER, the Minister of Education of Nigeria and our country's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany. Among his many national and international awards and honours are Grand Officer DE LA LEGION D'HONNEUR of the Republic of France, American Medal of Honor (bestowed upon men and women of exceptional Distinction) and Order of the Federal Republic ( OFR ). He has, for a long term, been involved in youth mentoring and development as well as in organizations concerned with older persons and vulnerable people in the society.


SIR PETER ALIU (SOUTH-SOUTH)

Sir Peter Aliu was born in Lagos on 1st August 1945. He had his education at City College Lagos and joined the Federal Civil Service at Lagos in 1967 where he attended several training in Nigeria and outside the country. Sir Aliu during his public service career worked directly with three Nigerian Heads of states and President. He also worked as Chief of Protocol to thirteen ministers and ministers of State in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. He was awarded the following international and national awards: 1. Distinguished service on the ribbon medal by Government of Federal Republic of Germany in 1988. 2. Knighted by the Holy Father Saint Pope John Paul the second in 1991. 3. In 1991, Sir Aliu was given the Nigerian National Award of National Productivity Order of merit by President Babangida. 4. Sir Aliu was given another award from the Vatican City Rome by Holy Father Pope Francis as Knight Commander of ST. Gregory the Great in year 2000. 5. Sir Aliu was made Paul Haris Fellow by Rotary international for his philanthropy Sir Peter Aliu is happily married with children


COL. BARR. PAUL OMERUO (Rtd) (SOUTH-EAST)

PROFILE OF COL. BARR. PAUL U.N. OMERUO (RTD) Born in Zaria, Kaduna State of Nigeria, on January 20, 1946. Hailed from Nnono Oboro in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State. Had his Primary Education first at Methodist School Zaria, before acquiring his First School Leaving Certificate at Nnono Central School, in his home town. He attended the famous Nigerian Military School Zaria for his Secondary Education. After the 1967-70 Nigeria-Biafra War, he was admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna, and was later commissioned in September 1971, as an Officer in the Nigerian Army. He attended Military Courses in Pakistan, India, Russia, and Camberly Staff College in England. He has also visited USA Military Institutions, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, and Sierra Leone. Appointments held in the Army include Commanding Officer of several Artillery Regiments, Brigade Major, General Staff Officer (Training) at Army Headquarters, and Deputy Commandant of the Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery and School. He also held a Political Appointment as the Military Administrator of Kogi State from 1993 - 1996. He retired from the Nigerian Army after 35 years of Service in December 1996. He studied Law at the University of Lagos and obtained his LL.B. Later went to the Nigerian Law School Bwari Abuja, before being called to the Bar in 2012, after obtaining his BL. Col. Barr. Paul U.N. Omeruo (rtd) joined COSROPIN from day one and has held the office of Financial Secretary for 4 years, before being re-elected recently for another term.


DAME MAY IKOKWU (SOUTH-EAST)

Dame May Ikokwu comes from Oba, Anambra State. She has a first Degree in Chemistry from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a Masters degree in Plastics Engineering from University of Lowell, Massachusetts in USA. She worked for some years with Monsanto of USA before joining NNPC in 1978, where she retired as a Management staff in 2003. Since retirement May Ikokwu was the CEO of her own companies, Simzoil and Gas Ltd, a petroleum marketing company and Simzoil and Gas Consult Ltd, that consulted on Climate Change and Renewable Energy. In 2013 May Ikokwu took a step closer to retirement by closing her Petroleum Marketing and Consulting Office and focused on an Heritage NGO - Save Our Heritage Initiative - which had been established in 2012 - based on insights of the fragility of our planetary heritage as revealed by Climate Change. Today May Ikokwu is a writer of books on Heritage. She is a member of BOT of Senior Citizens and Elders Forum of Nigeria (SCEFON), Patron of several societies and a past President of Polymer Institute of Nigeria (PIN). Dame May Ikokwu is a mother and grandmother.


MR. OLAYINKA AJOMOLE (SOUTH – WEST)

Olayinka Ajomale is a graduate of Mass Communication and has a master’s degree in Social Work. He has contributed positively in the last eighteen years into the social care sector Mr. Ajomale joined the African Gerontological Society AGES Nigeria and rose to become the Executive Secretary of the organization, serving for twelve years in that capacity. He has attended professional and academic courses both at home and abroad. He has travelled to over twelve countries in Europe, North America. Mr. Ajomale is the HelptheAged Fellow 2006, Oxford Institute of Ageing, UK, a member of the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse INPEA, the African Research on Ageing Network AFRAN, the Ibadan Research on Ageing Group IBAREG, African Society on Ageing Research and Development ASARD, the Professional Caregivers Association of Nigeria among many other organizations in the social care industry. He served as co-African representative on the Board of INPEA 2010-2012. He is presently the Executive Director and member Board of Trustees, Centre on Ageing, Development and Rights of Older Persons CADROP, the National Coordinator Nigerian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology NSGG, the Oyo State Coordinator of Coalition of Societies for the Rights of Older Persons in Nigeria COSROPIN and Ambassador Nigeria to the Commonwealth Association on Ageing, CommonAge. He is happily married with children.


AIG STEVEN AIYEWUNMI (rtd) (NORTH-CENTRAL)

AIG Steven Adewumi Aiyewumi. Born on 7th September 1938. Had my Primary Education from 1947 to 1956. Attended Institute of Administration Zaria . Attended six months recruit training, police college Kaduna. Inspectorate COURSE 1961 Officer's Orientation Course 1966. Overseas Junior officers course, Tuliallan Scotland 1970. Overseas Senior Command Course, Brazilian, U.K. 1974. Senior Police Command Course 1977 Staff College Jo's. Had 3 years Overseas tuition with Rapid Result College ,U.K. Enlisted in the Nigeria Police Force As a 1st Class Constable, rose through the ranks and retired in the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police. after 35 years meritorious service. Served in various Commands and at different levels. Married with six children. On retirement in Feb. 1991, I registered and operated a construction company for 25 years. I finally retired in to full time Kingdom Service to the glory of the Most High God


REAR ADM CHRISTOPHER SULE EHANMO (rtd) (NORTH-CENTRAL)

Rear Adm Christopher Sule Ehanmo (rtd) was born on 21st May 1950 at Okpene in Apa LGA Benue State. He attended many schools and military institutions in Nigeria and overseas. (2) Schools attended were Government College Zaria & Govt College Kaduna (HSC) and University of Jo's. (3)Military training. INS Venduruthy Cochin, India ; Amphibious Warfare School US Marine Corps Quantico USA ; Gunnery School United Kingdom . Appointments held (1) Commanding g Officer of 3 Sea going ships. (2) Commandant of Naval College Onne PH.(3) Commander of Maritime Operations ECOMOG Liberia. (4) Deputy Commandant Command & Staff College Jaji Kaduna. (5) Chief of Personnel & Chief of Logistics Naval Headquarters Abuja. (6) Moderator( Lecturer) NIPSS , Kuru Jos. Rear Adm Rhanmo retired from active military service in November 2005. He loves the word of God and Christian. music. He loves and plays golf for exercise and fun. He also has an NGO and participates actively in COSROPIN activities. He is happily married with children.
